Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry (TUAF), established in 1970, is considered one of the four leading National Agricultural Universities in Vietnam. The university is composed of eight Faculties, two Institutes, eight Centers and eight Offices. At present, TUAF has more than 13,000 undergraduate students and 1,036 graduate students.
TUAF’s mission is to provide higher education, conduct research and technology transfer in the fields of fisheries and aquaculture, agriculture, forestry, rural development, and environmental and natural resource management to contribute to the socio-economic development in the midland and northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam. TUAF’s vision is to produce a workforce of qualified knowledge, ethics and practicing capability to meet the demands of national and international labor market.
